Mount Carleton Provincial Park- The Canadian Appalachian Experience

Pairing: Camping and Hiking

Hiking enthusiasts flock to Mount Carleton to attain the goal of reaching the highest peak in the Maritime provinces. Pair your camping experience with a full hiking itinerary and accomplish some, or all of the hiking trails that Mount Carleton Provincial Park has to offer. Work your way from the easy and beautiful Williams Falls Trail to the challenge of one of three summits, Mount Bailey, Mount Carleton or Mount Sagamook.

With all of that hiking during daylight hours, your campsite will be a welcome retreat at the end of the day. Enjoy one of the darkest skies in the province at this designated dark sky preserve while you relax by the fire.

This family-oriented park will be a welcome destination for the whole family! Whether it’s you and your immediate family needing to get away and connect with nature or bringing the whole extended family for a reunion, République Provincial Park has everything you need for all ages.

While adults relax and take in the beauty of nature, the young (or young at heart) can jump in our cool, refreshing pool or challenge their siblings, cousins, and friends to a competitive game of ping-pong at the recreation centre. Everyone can gather at the amphitheater for night-time shows, join in one of the campground’s bon-fires or relax by the fire at your personal campsite. Gather at République Provincial Park to connect with nature and family!

North Lake Provincial Park- A Nature Lover’s Paradise

North Lake Provincial Park has a campground that will bring you back to nature with a backwoods feeling. Enjoy the quiet nights, the calm smooth-as-glass lake and the private campsites. Spend your days touring the lake in your canoe, kayak or paddleboard or forego the watercraft and take a dip! Evenings can be spent by the campfire with friends, family, or for the lone camper, with the sound of chirping crickets.

You will leave North Lake Provincial Park feeling calm and refreshed but don’t forget your bug spray!

Mactaquac Provincial Park- The Four-Season Playground

Pairing: Camping and Golf

Although Mactaquac has so many activities to offer, we definitely recommend pairing your camping experience with a round or two of golf! Whether you’re a pro-golfer, new golfer, have played our course a hundred times or never before, we welcome you to challenge yourself again and again. Challenge yourself to be your own best, beat your friends or maybe achieve one of our prestigious “Hole-in-One” golf-bag tags!

New River Beach Provincial Park- The Fundy Tidal Beach

Pairing: Camping and Sand Sculptures

It doesn’t have to be the day of our annual sand sculpture competition to hit the beach with your sculpting tools. Practice all summer long and challenge the Fundy tide while you’re camping with us. This expansive beach has room for everyone to spread out and create!

Head back to your campsite after a day of sculpting to enjoy a campfire and maybe stay in one of our new rustic shelters!

Herring Cove Provincial Park- The Nature Lover’s Retreat

Pairing: Camping and Island Adventures

Herring Cove Provincial Park is the perfect place to stay while you tour Campobello Island, an island rich in history and culture. The main attraction, Roosevelt Cottage that includes a “Tea with Eleanor” offers free, guided tours and is just a short trip from the park! Spend your days touring the island and your evenings relaxing at the park, maybe fitting in a round of golf at our nine-hole course.

You’ll be able to hear the waves from all over our campground at night but our campground C, right beside the water offers the soothing sound of crashing waves up close. Fall asleep to the sound of the tides!

Parlee Beach Provincial Park- Canada’s Warmest Salt-Water Beach

Pairing: Camping and Beach Fun

Relaxing on the beach is required at least once per summer, why not make it the warmest salt-water beach in Canada?! No need to stop at just one day on the beach if you are camping at Parlee Beach Provincial Park, stay and play for as many days as work will allow you to get away! Parlee Beach has warm sand that is perfect to stretch out your beach blanket, lay back and soak in the sun. Don’t forget your sunscreen.

The campground is a short walk away and offers an open concept, close knit camping community!

Murray Beach Provincial Park- The Seashore Discovery Beach

Do you need to step away from the hustle and bustle of life? Murray Beach Provincial Park with its famous picturesque sunsets is the place to relax, recharge and remember exactly what mother nature can do.
