We invite you to join the Mactaquac Golf Course team! As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role at one of New Brunswick's most picturesque golf venues. You'll have the chance to elevate the golf experience, collaborate with tourism partners, and contribute to the growth of a well-respected golf operation. As a key leader, you'll be part of a team of passionate professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences.


What you will do:

As a member of the Mactaquac Golf team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Grounds maintenance which includes mowing the grass, and trimming trees and bushes using various tools and equipment
  • Building maintenance which includes cleaning, painting and minor repairs
  • Equipment maintenance which includes cleaning and minor maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining the trails and roads
  • Ensuring the site is kept clean and organized
  • Performing other related tasks, as required

Work is usually performed under direction or according to assigned schedules

You are someone who values exceeding work expectations and have knowledge and experience in a variety of disciplines. You are organized and enjoy a challenge. You must be a team player who can lead a team and are able to work with minimal supervision. You also possess strong interpersonal, communication skills and are self-motivated.

Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:


Required Competencies:
  • Completion of Grade 10
  • Experience in labour work including the use and maintenance of tools and equipment; and some experience in the operation of a light motor vehicle
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
  • Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration. Please ensure that preferred language for assessment is identified on your resume.


Nice to have:
  • Valid Emergency First Aid/CPR certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) training

Wage:

$26.12 per hour


Work environment:
  • Working evenings, weekends, holidays, shifts and variable hours
