James Catt Monument

Cross the suspension footbridge and walk to the right through the open field. In the area to the left you will see a monument. This was erected in memory of James Catt, the regional supervisor of fish culture. He died while fishing at his beloved Big Salmon River.

In 2019, the New Brunswick Wildlife Federation (formerly the New Brunswick Fish and Game Protective Association), commissioned a refurbishment of the James Catt Cairn.
