Looking for a quiet, relaxing stay or meeting place, literally away from everything? Hearst Lodge is now reopened! Closed since 2014 due to the washout of the steep service road that leads down to this special area, the lodge is now renovated and has meeting spaces available for rent as well as the two cabins for overnight accommodations starting July 1st, 2021!
Located within a secluded area of the breathtaking Fundy Trail Parkway, renting these facilities offer a unique hike in, hike out experience. You can now either rent meeting space in the lodge or book overnight accommodations in one of the two cabins. The hike along Big Salmon River, leaving from P8 (parking lot 8) is approximately 3.5 km one way. Leaving from the trailhead, just after crossing suspension bridge, the trail is 2.7 km one way. The first part of the hike is an easy to moderate hike while the later part of the hike is moderate to challenging. Don’t wish to carry your belongings? Not to worry – our service vehicle can transport your luggage or gear, so you don’t have to!
