An unparalleled journey along the coast of the Bay of Fundy, an eco-adventure....
9:00 am ** - Coach leaves Saint John Hotel for St. Martins via Coastal Route 111.
10:00 am - Arrive St. Martins - Stop at the Village of St. Martins Harbour Photo opportunity to shoot two covered bridges and visit Lighthouse Visitor Information Centre.
10:30 am - Arrive at Fundy Trail Main gate - Step-on Guide
Two stops - Number One - Pictures at Melvins Beach Look-out - Scenic View of Bay of Fundy and Nova Scotia can be seen in the distance.
Number Two - Parking area for photos of Fuller Falls and the three lookouts overlooking Pangburn Beach and Melvin Beach.
11:15 am - Arrive Big Salmon River Interpretive Centre. Reception and interpretation of murals, artifacts and a video on the history and cultural American owned logging community.
11:45 am - A short walk down the hill to the Big Salmon River Suspension Bridge for an excellent photo opportunity. A look at the Salmon Pools and the 600 Million year old precambrian rocks.
12:00 Noon*** - Depart Big Salmon River Interpretive Centre
** Or this same trip can be made in the afternoon on your trip back from Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island. Time frame would be the same.
*** Or continue on to Fundy National Park/Hopewell Rocks, Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island.
