Fundy Trail General Manager receives tourism award
News Release
The general manager of the Fundy Trail Development Authority is the recipient of the New Brunswick Tourism Industry Association (TIANB) Pioneer Award.
Brian Clark was presented the award, which honours someone every year for their valuable contributions and outstanding efforts to the tourism industry in the province, last month during the association's 26th annual conference held in Caraquet.

Clark has made a longtime commitment and shown dedication to the promotion of tourism in the province as manager of the Fundy Trail since its opening in September 1998. Prior to his position with the Fundy Trail, for nine years Clark was employed in the hotel industry as a general manager of many hotel properties in Atlantic Canada.
"It is appropriate that we make this announcement during Tourism Week in Canada, a great opportunity for all Canadians to celebrate the important contributions that Canada's tourism sector makes to our economy and communities," said the Fundy Trail Development Authority in a press release. "Tourism operators throughout the province are working hard to deliver high quality products and a welcoming spirit for our visitors. Innovations, creativity, leadership and vision are common qualities among tourism operators."
